SUPERSPECIALITY TRAINING

I was part of active liver transplant program at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. During the training tenure of 3 years, 192 liver transplants were performed in the department (4 cadaveric and 188 living donation).
I was trained in performing all the major and complex GI surgical procedures- including pancreatic/ liver resections and shunt procedures, oncologic procedures.
After 3 years of training here, I visited Asan medical center, Seoul on International Visiting Scholar program for 2 months in the department of HPB & Liver transplantation under Prof SG Lee.
